Every course runs for one evening and one Saturday a week, with materials included.
Foundation
Mix, juxtapose and measure colour. From the seven contrasts to your own palette system.
Foundation
Typography from the ground up: modules, margins and a typeface drawn with compass and rule.
Intermediate
Wood, metal and glass in the workshop. Learn what each material wants to become.
All levels
Loom, thread and pattern. Structure as ornament, on handlooms and digital jacquard.
All levels
Steep angles, hard shadows and the photogram. A darkroom and a rooftop are your studio.
Advanced
Bend, weld and upholster your own chair in our metal shop. Leave with something you can sit on.
Practising designers and makers who teach two days a week and work in their studios the rest.

Three floors of student work: chairs, typefaces, textiles, photographs and one very large mobile. Free entry, with late openings every Thursday until 22:00.
Places are limited to sixteen per studio. Apply by 15 December 2026 and pay nothing until your place is confirmed.
