Every June, designers from forty countries meet in Zürich for three days of talks, workshops and arguments about the systems behind visual communication.
This year’s theme, Order and Chance, asks what happens when strict rules meet the unpredictable: generative type, cities that rewrite their own signage, archives that grow faster than anyone can sort them.
Talks are held in English. Workshops run in small groups of twelve, in the print studios of the Hochschule Limmat, a short tram ride from the main hall.
